Cressets were used in medieval times to burn a log vertically to light a path. My cresset is a cast-iron product born from that history into this time. It is a modular system, able to stack bottom on top on bottom. With such construction, the user can burn an enclosed fire, elevate an open flame, or use multiple units to create a totem of light.
